At 31 March 2000 the Trustee of the Mid Kent Holdings Share Participation Scheme held 600 ordinary
shares in the Company (1999: 1,400) not appropriated to Scheme participants. The investments are
stated at the lower of cost and net realisable value. Costs of administration of the Scheme are charged
to the profit and loss account as they accrue. |
