All of a sudden you find somebody lying on the floor. A lot of people are standing around but nobody really knows what to do. The answer is very simple - Emergency First Response. Using the latest information on emergency care and CPR as well as first aid techniques, we will train everybody with an interest and give them the proper attitude and confidence to respond to medical emergencies. The EFR programs use flexible delivery method to meet your scheduling needs and participants learning styles. The Instructors are using standardised methods and materials for delivering the program, all learning outcomes are clearly specified in terms of knowledge, understanding and practical application. Participants master the required skills and knowledge through a combination of independent study, instructor led skill development and scenario practice. Instructors will add relevant information specific to your local environment and/ or local laws and regulations including Risk Assessment, Safety Procedures and Emergency First Aid Equipment requirements.
The program methodology is based on seeing, hearing and doing and on a continuous assessment process. As a leader in the field of first aid training, EFR has applied the performance-based philosophy of training. Performance is measured individually as students progress through the skills. The main emphasis is aimed at hands on patient care and is structured from simple to complex. Consistency in training and assessment is achieved by requiring instructors to undergo a formal Instructor training course. Instructors are supplied with the state-of-the-art instructional materials, lesson guides and participant materials. This provides for an objective orientated, and consistent standard of delivery world-wide. Instructors are updated on a quarterly basis with a training bulletin/newsletter. Instructors are also required to renew every two years and must fulfill certain renewal-requirements during that period. Retraining is recommended every two years. After the successful course completion, Emergency First Responders can refresh their skills by participating in an instructor led skills practice sessi CYDIVE Instructor Training Academy has developed an ongoing Training and Refresher schedule to ensure that you always have a current First Aid certification. For every minute a patient is in cardiac arrest, the chance of survival is reduced by ten percent. CYDIVE Instructor Training Academy is training you to take swift and appropriate action in an emergency.
