Cydive meets at 08.30hrs and 13.30hrs for qualified diver trips. The 08.30hr dive is usually to a depth of between 20 and 35m and returns at approximately 10.30hrs. The 13.30hr dive is 9 to 12m and returns at about 16.30hrs. There is also one night dive offered each week. All dives are escorted by our staff.
Less experienced divers are offered suitable sites at 10.30hrs and 13.30hrs, from the boat or shore, accompanied by our highly trained instructors.
For the complete beginner, we run a half-day Discover Scuba Diving programme every morning, plus a wide range of courses to all levels.
Qualified divers are required to bring proof of qualification and divers log, but dive permits are not required. A minimum of 1 star / Open Water is needed for boat dives and 2 star / Advanced Open Water to hire equipment for private use. Evidence of a suitably qualified buddy is also required for the latter. Spear fishing with an aqualung is not permitted in Cyprus without a special licence, unavailable to visitors.
