Cydive is ideally set up for courses to all levels. Experienced highly qualified instructors take small groups for all practical sessions and dives. The school has its own air-conditioned classrooms with the latest equipment to make lectures fun and theory easy to learn. There is also an area of sheltered seawater right outside the front door and a very good selection of shallow easy sites to make first dives as fascinating as you could wish, with ancient and modern wrecks, archways and caverns, and good marine life.
Training mostly takes place in hotel swimming pools but in summer we may use the sea if conditions are favourable. Cydive is particularly lucky in having a range of excellent dive sites for beginners. The Roman Wall with a depth of 6m has many interestig features, including our Octopus Gardens project. Another shore dive that may be used for open water training is the Lighthouse Wreck. For boat dives on Open Water courses we offer sites such as The Wreck of the Vera K, The Wreck of the Achilleas and Amphorae Caves. All these sites have a maximum depth of 12m. For advanced divers there is a good selection of more adventurous dive sites. All our courses are fully-inclusive of equipment and dives. Registration fees are included up to and including Rescue Diver level.
